I agree, they are the "generic dead mom" characters. Kushina has a special background I guess, but aside from that, I guess this dude simply wants them cause they are the main characters' moms

Aside from that she was an ill tempered and violent individual with no redeeming features. As for beauty? Both barely look passable in both the anime and manga with Kushina having some nice smiling scene that all. Most importantly they are dead.
