Review Detail of LadySadieK in The Alpha's Cursed Destiny

I dove deep into reading this book without realizing it’s currently on a break. It’s my own fault for not paying attention, otherwise I would’ve saved it in my private library hub folder of future reads to have avoided a great disappointment having reached the current ending point. I’m afraid of moving it out of my current reads reading library & miss updates if they resume soon — though I’ve checked regularly and nothing has been updated. A clear message in the synopsis of the current break or even a possible/hopeful resumption period would be nice. It stops at a huge, highly anticipated turning point & having reached that far, my disappointment was a huge understatement after swiping & seeing a “hiatus” message. I checked back regularly to see if it resumed - but after sometime, I realize it isn’t. I’m eager for it to resume as this is a great story developing. I was quickly consumed by this story and nose deep in reading. I was unable to put it down for quite some time. It’s definitely worth the read if you don’t mind the abrupt stopping point with an unknown resuming period or IF it’ll even resume. ___ The author definitely has skill in story writing & brings her characters to life. It’s scene by scene mentally as I read her words which are very clear & I don’t quite remember having noticed many, if any errors. The flow is smooth, character-development - though it’s still the beginning. The descriptive writing is concise providing clear mental imagery. I love the characters personalities & super loving the best friend & each pups differences. Only 40 chapters provided before the “break” and the build-up to that point is great — though lots of questions still unanswered, or still curious about their previous history on their relationship other than the obvious provided in the synopsis. Did they start out as a human couple? Was he human before? Have they always been in that town, or does he always come back to that town each lifetime? What’s the entire history between her & the stalker? Her waiting for him through each lifetime of his, where did the stalker fit in? Was there a gap period inviting the stalkers impression that she is more than what she claims? Has she always been who she is & has he always accepted it? Or, is it a reintroduction each lifetime?
