The story premise is good however, 20 chapters in, I'm already tired of both the FL and ML. FL is so insecure, she has not trust in her fiancé. If I were him, I wouldn't be able to stand her mood swings. A person can only tell you so many times to trust them. He's not stupid, he knows her "sister" is up to no good. But she can't trust him. He's no angel either. He doesn't explain anything, he seems more interested in her body, or rather, that's the only way he knows to communicate with her. I wouldn't be able to continue with someone who doesn't give any ounce of reassurance except for the fact that he won't dump me because his grandfather has decided I'm to be the granddaughter-in-law. Plus there's the terrible foreshadowing that her mother is not her real mother. I want to save some brain cells so I'll pass on this story. Pity because the story was interesting the first chapters.

This is based on 40 chapters. While I am curious to see if FL's sister is exposed as a white lotus, this story shouldn't be picked over the others on trial read. With the way FL's parents are quick to cast her aside once her sister returns, it makes you wonder if FL is actually their birth daughter. They should know her character best & it's absolutely ridiculous that they would blame her for her sister getting lost when she was only a child when that happened. Though they aren't treating harshly by being abusive with their words or actions, they became indifferent to her & favor her sister over her. Because of this, I can't blame FL too much for being insecure when it comes to her relationship with ML, especially because he isn't doing his best to reassure her. He says he's not involved with her sister (& I do believe he isn't cheating) yet he keeps getting in situations that are easily misunderstood & doesn't bother to explain. From his pov, it could be annoying but, aside from that, his words aren't really loving towards FL. The only thing she can believe in is that he wants her body. When you have two frustrating main characters, it makes difficult to fully enjoy this story. So, I would say it's okay to skip this one.

All I can say is I wish feng Jia wasn't the ML and Gu Chu wasn't the FL. Ml doesn't communicate at all! And Gu Chu felt so stupid at times! She never really put her foot down, she let the ML get away with those stupid nothing's and coincidences. Also ML if so innocent, never really tried to prevent those coincidences even though Gu Chu confronted him so many times. Super super frustrating! None of the characters are likeable, simply none!

Hate it when one sibling pulls the other one down for selfish reasons. Siblings should always support each other. If family members don’t love each other, why expect outsiders to do so. And, as for the Male Lead? Chauvinist! If he loves the Female Lead and wants to keep her, why hurt her? Or why lie and scheme?

The story is not completed , how can it shows completed.. Atleast write some chapters to end the story.. FL was at hospital and somehow we got to know female lead's parents are not her real parents and then thats it..this is not first book where novel is completed without its ending.. If you can't capable of completing one story then why are you writing so many novels Atleast write one novel fully .
