My opinion if you go harem route make sure all of his wives are reliable and trustworthy. If romance I don't like Mc will always saving FL which is too common for me and too much cringe plot so make sure its good outcome. If no romance I also like that like Fang yuan(RI).

if I do harem it won't be too big as I will probably forget about them myself and while he might save them once or twice but that will be only if they are on the verge of death other then that he will let them grow by themselves
