This novel started out okay but it's lost me. The biggest reason is the supposed 'chemistry' to the FL and ML. Some spoilers: The ML first sees the FL when she's walking in the rain while everyone is trying to get out of it. This is enough to arouse his interest towards her. As for their official first meeting, they both happen to be living in the same hotel. But for some reason these rich people book themselves into cheap hotels because the sound proof is non-existent. The FL keeps on hearing an annoying sound from the ML's hotel room and can't stand it anymore. She knocks on the door telling them to keep it down, however the noise continues and she the easily kicks the door open and goes into the room. Cheap quality door man. This feels more like a motel in a bad neighbourhood to me at this pointπ₯². The ML recognizes her as the girl from the rain and then starts 'flirting' with her. The dialogue between the leads... I just don't feel the chemistry between them. When they speak to each other it's meant to come across and playful and flirtatious, but it's just lacking something. They are meant have this undeniable attraction towards each other while continuing to 'flirt' with each other but it just falls flat. Especially since the ML keeps referring to the FL as a 'little child'. The rest of the novel also has parts or scenarios that seem nonsensical and pointless. I did enjoy some parts but it's disappointing overall π€·π½ββοΈ.
