Review Detail of Jaredthefox92 in Fighting Destiny

The story is alright. It's clearly a teen coming of age story with a slice of life theme. However, due to my own upbringing of being middle class it's not really my cup of tea. I can see where the protagonist would have issues with such a forced life of luxury, even if I never had such things growing up. Still, I understand how hard it would be for your parents to literally dictate your life as a teen. I wish there was more of a background to the setting, but the plot is relatively easy to follow. Rich teen girl with uptight wealthy parents and whatnot. The development is sort of off the rails as there's not much more for a background into the character, but I've seen this sort of narrative style in movies so I guess it's just not as in-depth as I'd normally like. It's not bad, I'm just not the stories target audience. I also wish there was more to fuel the relationship with her parents and their viewpoints. I know the 'parents want what is best for their kids', but the parents don't really have a POV.
