Hello I am a system. I have rules. They are there so that you, the MC, don't get way too OP too fast. Hm you say that I have exceptions for the rules. That is right. When the author does not want to waste brain power on actually thinking things trough he is able to change the rules at will. Why? I am just a system. The author is my creator, not the other way around. This doesn't make for a good story and makes every dangerous situation appear like the author intentionally screwed over the MC. This doesn't make for a good story? The MC is a brainless fool? Yes, of course. This is a power fantasy.

Sure enough, at least one reasonable voice. If the author does not care about the stories integrity and the fleshed out System itself , why should we?🤪

Idk man I read a couple of your other reviews and agreed with most of them, this one just throws me off, the rules for this system is very clearly explained - He can copy any Talent/Bloodline/Cultivation Technique/ Skill(w/ the persons Skill Mastery) - He can copy 3 things at a time - He can only copy 3 things from each person a day - He has to stand within 20 meters of them to copy it (explained as downloading) - It speeds up the download rate if they use the thing he is copying or closer to them, - The closer his Talent/Skills are to what he is downloading the less time is required to download it. These are all explained within the first 20 chapters of the trial read, the trial reads main point is to explain the world building and power system of a potentially 300+ chapter novel. And he literally starts at the start of a competition where only geniuses are and he is with the Main Character of the novel, favored son of heaven, at no point does it hold him back at any point, its designed for him to get strong super fast, while also allowing for a lot of interaction with side characters, which is actually enjoyable and funny, the world background is really well thought out, idk at first I thought you read the synopsis and just wrote this but reading all your other reviews it was clear you actually read through it before writing it so I'm really confused what happened >.<

You are forgetting a few things. Within the first chapter was mentioned: - The distance plays a major role. The closer, the faster the download. - There is a freebie every 3 days, in which download is instant. - The download can be interrupted and changed at will. At no point is meaningful interaction with others part of the requirements, or even encouraged. Yes, seeing someone use a skill spread to up learning, but the fastest way to gain a high amount of skills within the rules is to kidnap, abduct, seduce or simply knock out and sedate other characters. But what is the most annoying of all is the freebie every 3 days. There are three categories the MC needs to care about: Cultivation(Solved with freebie instantly), Bloodline(OH no, 3 days to get that, how awful) and skills. Talent practically meaningless because the MC doesn't need time and effort to learn something. A few more skills and time spend on integration in to the MCs fighting style is all that is needed. Only talent he really needs is Cultivation, but that is just to save time. Enough skills and money and resources will flow. MC knows or can find out the best bloodline easily, because the system gives him that information. Or how do you explain the just transmigrated MC instantly knew about the value of a Cultivation technique just after learning its name? MC can gain a super strong bloodline after 3 days, which means the only thing holding him back is skills and skills are everywhere. But does the MC even need a bloodline immediately, no not really, because he isn't invested into the story besides trying to survive. At any further point in the story when the threat of death isn't imminent you are going to have to ask yourself why, why doesn't the MC just leave, he knows the story will play out without him and as such for his own peace of mind it would be easy to just leave. In one year, just by doing odd jobs, or just walking around the MC could check thousands of people for useful skills and gain hundreds of them. No combat necessary. I critique the system because the author invalidated most of the story in the first chapters. If these additional rules didn't exist and the author actually though about how the MC could survive before the system made him OP, there would still be hope, but as it is, the other rules are really only there and get used because the author intentionally twists his story to fit the mold he desired. In essence, the system rules were changed because the author though it inconvenient to actually write a introduction to his story, that worked with an OP, but restricted system. Instead the author chose to thoughtlessly add a restriction like money afterwards to invalidate a cheat/freebie, but again, didn't think about the implications. Which makes the reader uncertain from the beginning if the rules of the system are actually as restrictive as they seem, or if they are just for building false suspense in a power fantasy type of novel.

I agree with the point about the rules but the thing about the freebie was actually explained that its only a first use freebie after that its 3 spirit stones (and we don't know if it increases each time cuz he hasn't used it yet) Talent is also still necessary because he cant use certain Bloodlines or cultivation techniques without the required Talent, him knowing the Bloodlines also work because he was placed in a world he had already read about and was reading far into the future point he was placed in, so he had already heard of all the better bloodlines especially if it was on an important side character which is the main one we've seen so far, and him not going out of his way to beat people up and steal it from him at the start is just because he is too weak he explained he just wanted to hide around the novels MC and get them from him but he wasn't fast enough, and when he was strong and fast enough he had already become friends with him and considered him a good brother because stuff like that happens in life and death situations, same thing with the side character who has the bloodline, and again he knows the value of a cultivation technique because its from the novel he was reading when he transmigrated, its what the most of the beginning chapters were about, and after he 'downloads' it he isn't downloading the skill he's downloading that persons comprehension of it so with low talent he can't easily improve it but he does know how to use it and the content that was comprehended in the first place, knowing a general description of an ability.

No Author didn't mentioned that MC can download anything instantly and one time when MC used it, he got it from system for 1 time use instant download.

Trial Read Review (only from synopsis): (X:ICATDOHP) - So the protagonist gets reincarnated with the power to change the dates (how old or young they are) of herbs. He is a herb disciple (good for him) and since plants are more powerful when older, he modifies the plants and consumes them making him stronger. Not going to lie, this plot seems mediocre and bland. Maybe I will check it out. (YTIBIWBMS) - This is one of those talent stealing novels. That is literally all the synopsis covers and it doesn't really talk much about the plot. There have already been many novels similar to this one and I will only check it out if I am bored. (ITRWISG) - Basically, the protagonist is in a modern world where he can see stats and stuff like a game while no one else can’t. This plot has been overused so much and usually comes with an extra plate of face slapping. The sad thing is that I’m already full. (MR) - Out of all of the other trial novels this time, this seems like the one with the most plot and potential. Honestly, I can’t really understand what the plot is because the synopsis is short but it hooks you into the story (somewhat). I will check it out. (P9Y:AAMFFY) - Protagonist transmigrates into the modern world and gets a funeral system. He also has a funeral company (you can see where this is going). Basically, he can make amazing things happen at your funeral, but that’s all. Unique plot but honestly kind of lackluster. Maybe I will read it. (LOTP:IRAMSFTS) - Guy can get land and stuff and summon succubi and this plot is overused and seems generic blah blah blah (hey, it’s like 2:00 for me over here, don’t blame me for being sloppy). Anyway, bad. Wouldn’t recommend it.

This is definitely one of the best the Trial Reads have produced in a long time, the 'copying talents' concept has been done many times but a lot of the time the restrains and rules on the system stuff like "he can only copy stuff once a month" and whatnot where he gets a few good talents at the beginning and then its forgotton, this novel is way better, The MC can copy 3 Talent/Cultivation Technique/ Bloodline/ Skill (with skill level) FROM EACH PERSON every day, he can only copy 3 at a time and it takes time depending on how much of a gap it is from his current skill level for that certain thing or the certain requirements for it, and most of it is totally understandable, this copying system works by 'downloading' stuff, so it works like a wifi signal he has to stand near a person within 20 meters and it downloads faster if they are using the thing he is downloading or if he is closer, and you might be thing "oh thats so tedious how boring", your wrong, it allows for the side characters to actually be super interactive, the world building in this novel is absolutely phenomenal, theres plenty of funny characters and funny interactions between characters you actually enjoy, it isnt overly sexualized in any way, and I cant stress enough how good the World Building is, A lot of the "copying talent" novels, literally have the exact same worlds, down to the same power systems, this one is so well explained, great author, and also so well done, MC was even transmigrated into a novel he was reading previously, but he was reading way later into the novel from the point he was transmigrated into so he's able to actually utilize future knowledge into his planning instead of just aimlessly being dragged around geniuses for 150 chapters copying the first good talent he sees (if you cant tell by now I've read every other copy talent novel and I think I've read probably one other one I've actually enjoyed besides this one, this one is amazing I really hope it gets picked and doesn't just slip by the editors picks like a few other great novels I've seen in these trial reads.)
