Review Detail of JesReadin in Striving To Win Seductive Mute Wife Back

This story will really annoy some readers. It seriously irked me into dropping it at chapter 7 and I will explain my reasons (but do note, I get that it’s early, things may improve, and some people may love the tropes in here). For me, this story lost me when the FL mentioned that she loved her husband. But as a reader, I was shown NOTHING to love and EVERYTHING to despise. It had me doubting the intellectual capacity of the FL. When I read of her love my thought was simple. I don’t get this. What is there to love? Then I got increasingly annoyed as I listed the ‘attractions’ of this man in the previous 6 chapters: ML screwed the FL once on their wedding night (just enough to make an inconvenient child with this woman he despised). He then abandoned FL for her ‘sister’ (ofc a white lotus) and keeps the sister in his life. He demanded FL dissolve the marriage since then, keeping a dissolution ready to sign in her drawer. He truly treats FL like crap. Verbally demeans her at every opportunity. Has shown zero care for the son she birthed and spends no time with the boy. She has to beg for financial support when her son needs hospital bills paid. This bit really got me. He literally attempted to rape her right after he saw three men sexually assault her (oh but not before accusing her of prostituting herself to them in a public toilet). This ML actually kicked the FL to the ground in public. Can’t forget to mention the times he mocked her disability. Oh and he only paid attention to her when she signed the divorce papers, and that was just to make sure she did. I had 6 chapters of the FL rather passively dealing with all this. To then read her thinking how much she loves him made no sense. Is she some masochistic psychopathic obsessed stalker type who is off her meds? There is literally NOTHING to love other than his extreme wealth and powerful family, and that isn’t love. It’s a fantasy that’s a nice bonus when you fall for a guy. But love? That’s the BS some people say is love because in the end this 🍆 will be suddenly sorry and treat her like a princess and she gets to be wealthy and happy. It’s preparing the reader for him to undergo enlightenment and chase her with remorse. But nothing changes his personality. He is still this person under it all. An abusive piece of 💩 who happens to have money. Wow how romantic… There is one morsel of hope that the gentle guy who helped her in Ch 6 will be the surprise ML.
