I doubt many will see this review because I made it two stars, however, here are my thoughts : I'm currently on chapter 1113. 1. Writing : The writing is good, the way the author writes makes it clear that his vocabulary is quite expansive and good. I like sometimes how complex his writing can get and sometimes how simple it can be. Even with simpler writing, he can convey his thoughts and emotions well. 2. Pacing : The pacing can be quite weird, sometimes it's fast, sometimes it drags a lot, and sometimes it's just natural. 3. Overnerfing : I don't know why but the author seems to nerf the MC after every arc, and horribly, the way it's going the MC just seems like a side character. Rather than feeling like an MC, he is just a side character. The character growth on the MC is nicely done though. 4. Overuse of the [Fated] Attribute : I don't think I have to explain myself too much on this point, the author uses this attribute too much, making the MC fall into horrible situations one after another. 5. Characters: The characters are written well, Nephis seems like a BUM, Cassie is alright, MC is MC, and Effie and Kai are okay. Other characters are decent. Lastly, while this novel is written well, in no way is this perfect or even a masterpiece. With how many trash web novels exist on the internet, this might seem like a gem, but among diamonds, this is nothing.

The thing is, Sunny was never 'powerful'. You can't be nerfed if you weren't ever op to begin with, the author doesn't make his abilities weaker or make them disappear (unlike some authors on here). It's just that the enemies he's facing are getting stronger, sunny would die instantly to most of the enemies he fights now if he didn't get stronger. Also, the author doesn't elevate Nephis, it's Sunny who elevates Nephis in his perspective.

Clover_White:I don't have a problem with that, but the way the author keeps nerfing sunny and elevating nephis makes it really bad.

yes, you're right. For me, if the author focuses more on writing his side characters and not neglecting them, this novel will become like literary books. The author does not take the trouble of introducing his side characters and delving into them. All we know about the side characters is only what is mentioned and described only, and nothing else. As for other things such as the characters' goals, abilities, and way of thinking, we don't know anything, and therefore their influence in the story becomes almost non-existent.

The fact that the main character is not a hero and does not stand out makes this story original. As Sunny gets stronger, she meets stronger people and opponents. Therefore, he becomes difficult to understand how powerful it is. Since the story is told from Sunny's point of view, we know the other characters as he sees them. maybe that's why there is less detail. Finally, webnovels and books should be evaluated in separate categories.
