I also like the premise of choice Systems and I also read some some longer 150 chapter others shorter 20 chapter but at the end none really Took my fancy. Btw the 150 was my first choice system read after that I never read one as high as that even though 150 chapters is not too much for a novel.

I'm not sure why people are taking this story so seriously and decrying it for being unrealistic. Personally I find it hilarious. Yes it's nonsense. However, it's a system novel. It's supposed to be nonsense. All that matters is if it's a fun read or not and this novel tickles my funny bone just right with it's fun antics and depiction of people being torn between being impressed with the MC and annoyed with his antics. Nobody is flying off the handle about their "honor" being soiled like in the more "main stream" Chinese novels. Instead, they handle their embarrassment more like mature adults. In that way this novel is actually more "realistic" than typical Chinese novels.
