The novel started interesting but I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the demons. I know its my own wishful thinking. I wanted a demon realm that consisted of slaughter and not a warm welcome in the demon castle :(

LIKEHaha. The Demon Realm here is just as peaceful as the realm of the races it shares the world with. The Demons welcome Layland warmly, because he is a part of them. When it comes to humans and the majority of the races, Layland won't face the same treatment. In fact, he will spend a majority of his life the conquer the world and slaughter a lot of them. He is the villain in front of the human's eyes, but he is the hero in front our eyes because we see everything through his lenses.
I am sorry I didnβt read long enough to see that development, thanks for your answer! Is the novel based in only one world or will there be more worlds to conquer?
