Not my cup of tea. Why not search for the disease with a leveled up character and then when you find it give it to your level 1 alternate character? Even if the company of the game limited the amount of characters a player can make (like you suggested to add after reading my comment). Can't he just buy a new copy of the game for an extra character? Why would the company of the game limit the amount of characters you have in the first place? It won't help the servers because a player can only play as one character at a time anyways. Even if we take this limitation as a fact, can't he just delete his max level character when he finds the diseases and then come to take it as a new level 1 character? The whole idea of a secret buff "disease" that somehow was not found is ridiculous. And what stops other players from getting it when he finds it? Your writing is not bad, and your grammar is almost perfect, but the concept of the story is not that good in my opinion and the MC is quite generic.
