i get it's sometimes become uncomfortable, but i would say you are over exaggerating it, if he isn't gonna let's say SIMP over his lover (not any random nobody, but heroine), then who will he be simp over, be afraid of(as you have put), or spoil to death(the say i see it), or act like a beta for, i mean as long they have a healthy relationship, everything is fine. it's not like he is beta through snd through for every women that comes his way, there is charm and beauty in a male spoiling his loved one to his hearts content!! still i mean no offense to you, just saying go with flow or take it as shoujo manga or something?!?!

I believe you missed judging the Mc. he is human after all, especially since it is the first time for him to fall for anyone. He will obviously react differently. If you are expecting him to be cold and calculating to everyone and not show any weakness, then just go and stare at a cardboard box because that is basically what you are asking for. Everyone is so fast to call ML Mcs beta as soon as they show weakness, especially to the opposite gender. The fact he is showing a different stance to her than everyone else proves he finally found someone(or potentially have) that he can lean on and trust.

That is what relationships are for. You do not always jump straight to dating someone. People can like each other for over decades but due to one reason or another never get together or get together late.

She keeps nagging the mc for everything and he just accepts. (They barely know it each other.)
