The pace of the mc's growth isnt extremely fast pase or like a sloth But has a nice tempo and since the apocalypse in the real world hasnt started yet, we will get a view of the chaos that ensues when it does happen.

How is it good? It's a very slow pace story. The characters and MC IQ is walnut-sized, letting people attack them leave easily. Also, the most annoying character Liao Bufan exposes all the information that is supposed to be secret and acts scared and stupid all the time. He lakes common sense making stupid people seem intelligent compared to him.

Even though I have read 640 chapters, the great plot is still not revealed. I continue to read with interest. The chick named Xia xi is related to the big plot in the background and is not involved in mc's work. I wanted to quit for the same reason as you, but I'm glad I didn't. Hard to find interesting things worth reading

wut? u know the chick is deep into the plot? i mean theres hints of her that shes deeper in the plot at chapter 80 ish, she disappears then reappears wih more hints at chapter 300ish? im at 600 ish and well she hasnt appeared again. heck the story is quite interesting mystery wise but i have to acknowledge things have mostly been going in the mc direction rofl. and if youre thinking of love interests i think there are 2?

I’v read up to the current chapter 200+ and I can say that this review is inaccurate. There is no romance or women in the novel yet. It is a very typical but very good system novel
