The quality isnt the greatest but its not like the authors getting paid they dont allow powerstones and even if they did I wouldnt be mad. Despite the translation I like the story.

Nah, being honest. He could've tried to be sneaky and say he would improve if conditions are met or promise to improve eventually. He said he wasn't going to improve the quality, seems right as far as I've seen.
