lol its not about stars its about money, when you have people paying to read just 1 chapter that lets them know this book could make money vs other books that people don't pay to read in trials. When a book is then picked it can then be voted for but by now voting for books means nothing because webnovel doesn't release books with the most votes etc its random as far as i can tell, like right now there is a book with over 1 million votes and yet books like this with not even 100k gets released 1st etc. This sites gone down hill with MTL, Splitting chapters in half or 1/3 to lesson the value of passes and Milking Memberships more, books being dropped 50% of the time, votes not mattering, and for the cherry on top the books as of late are mostly short books as in around 150-400 chapters. etc etc etc my advice to any reader is to not pay to read any books until they finish them. That way none of these money scams would affect you. Like who wants to pay to read a book that gets dropped. Like thanks for the unfinished story but i want my money back.

nah, there where many books with the most support(number of readers who paid for chapters) but other novels were picked. when i looked at mtl of the first and compared to the latter- books that are ready to mtl(need just a little edit, the language is not complex) are the first course to pick. if you pay attention- you will notice how there phrases like "strong or strong" etc - that's mtl, it works poorly with synonyms.
