My personal review of this would be around 2 stars (if not using webnovel's calculator). Overall the story starts off pretty strong but as it goes on, I became more and more disinvested with everything, I do personally like harems and that was one of the tags that brought me to this novel and it honestly seems like it should be removed and replaced with the tragedy tag. I was reading this story because I enjoy becoming invested in characters and the relationships they develop especially if they are done well and the story gives off the illusion of doing that. The story hints on modern topics that some people might not like such as body dysmorphia and transitioning but does so in the least discomforting way for people who try to insert themselves into the MC by making the character friendly to the MC while being in a romance with another character. Some of the other characters that get fleshed our and developed over hundreds of chapters either get seemingly randomly killed off or their personality just becomes irrationaly stupid and disliked and eventually killed off. I say seemingly above because the author does use foreshadowing to hint at some of the plot devices that kill off those characters and some of the plot direction. By the chapter I reached after the author just killed off a majority of the side characters and sub-romantic interests, I no longer trust that the author would be able to deliver a satisfactory ending let alone an enjoyable journey. There is very little payoff on any of the relationships the MC has or seems to develop, so I would commend anyone who could finish the book but I for one find it too painful to continue on. (Which also means I will not read the authors other works since according to their comments, this is the type of style they enjoy writing with.) For anyone who bothered to read all the way through this review, I wouldn't suggest reading the story unless you have a lot of patience and someone who doesn't mind dropping a book at any point where it gets too frustrating.

thanks for the review and it seems you've gotten farther than me honestly I'm not even sure that I'm going to be able to get as far as you with how annoyingly simpish MC is and how he always seems to overreact whenever anything involving the villainous comes into play. I mean hearing so many times to MC going on and on about "oh how I'm sorry my lady, oh I'm sorry my lady this is all my fault" it just makes me lose all my brain cells. so to be honest I have enough interest in the world the author belt and and some of the characters but the main MC just drags the entire novel down for me and I don't know if I'm going to get to the point that you did.

I'm really loving this novel, the authors righting style is unique and I love how the characters were developed currently at chap 90 and ngl this is another one of the few novels I really like since I hardly comment but keep up the good work😁

Personally, I really enjoy the detailed and feelings put into this novel. I do notice a lot of people putting simp as the description of the Mc but I feel like that applies to the Mc before he's in the magic world. As it seems (while unclear) to be more of a merge of personalities where the major parts of his past memeries are kept as knowledge/dream for the magic world Mc to remember but that's the main personality aka the child being influenced by the older memories. I think this story would have better takes as long as it was written clearer on that point bc it helps explains a lot of why he acts the way he does. Only reason I noticed is cuz he refers to his past memories as aku's memories not "his" memories. Other than that I'm enjoying this novel a lot and hope u keep up the good wrritings :)

Honestly I liked the book but if you looking for an mc that is calculating and cold helping out a villainess with all her schemes then this isn't the book. The mc is a good kid who expresses a lot of emotion and is more on the naive side. The villainess is not really a villain but more a cinnamon roll. The novel is kinda cringe but I like it. Even though the mc has lived an extra life he still acts like a child (his body age) rather than how he was before rencarnation. Idk if it has to do with how he reincarnated so feel free to point that out, but I do find it a little annoying. Pretty good novel though 4.4/5
