Arcane season 1 just ended 3 days ago, and here you have a promising fanfiction baked for us, THANK YOU! Now if you can only update it often without losing the quality, it could be the one of the first and best fanfictions out there for arcane. Honestly can't say much about OC, since we are only 2 chapters in, he has a nice feeling though, and have a nice picture of him without trying our best to imagine how he looks and so on, kudos to author. You're probably aware, but I think in several weeks we will see arcane fanfiction explode in all sites, it touched a lot of viewers hearts, and season 2 will only come at about 1.5 years.

It's not set in stone yet. While it seems Riot doesn't want to make Arcane canon, most if not all people want it to be canon, and don't want to seperate them. So I think it's actually not decided, maybe in the near future.
