Mc is neutral not evil as most Joker mcs. Another avatar fanfic with a similar style is the one made by cornbringer. Sadly cornguy is trying to make good guy fanfics lately.

Good Guy protagonists got weaknesses and wouldn't choose a path to strength because they got morals,in animes they only live because of plot armour

That's a weak argument, Villains also get just as much plot armor as the mc, every story has plot armor , a story wouldn't exist without what people call plot Armour lol.

True Villians usually get more plot armor than heros. Especially if there end game villians. First arc ones, not so much.

not sad at good guy protags, just read his naruto fic where for fifty chapters the mc is navie, easily manupliated, and just a tool for war with low rewards. Dude really isnt on guard with danzo, guy letts himslef get into a marrige so he can have "protection" from other villages throwing women at him. The whole good guy is pretty bad, dont mind good guy fanfics at all, just navie ones which most good guy fics have. Should have been more specific, my bad.

theres a difference between naive and being braindead without any character... luffy and goku are naive. i like those characters, of course those two are apart of massive franchises but none the less my point stands. its not that good guys or naive mcs are bad its that authors cant write a half decent character 80% of the time without making their whole character one trope (I.e naive, stupid, evil, smart, sarcastic etc)
