at chapter 150 rn and i absolutely love it so far. 1 of my fav things about the novel is the sword forms the MC comes up with/performs. Just wish Gabby goes off of this Sakura guideline with all the whining she does but im sure it will change up later in the story

How heartless would you say the heartless brother is?
Heartless enough to lIght a hotel on fire as a distraction, when under the hotel is hundreds of Locked up Kidnapped children unable to escape.
That is just being an a$$h°le. Heartless would be if he betrayed or didn’t attempt to help someone close to him (i.e his brother, mother father, close friend or even someone who has been nothing but kind to him) because he didn’t stand to gain anything or might suffer a loss siding with them. A heartless person would also throw away a good relationship for some benefits.
He would also have no remorse and it wouldn’t possible to convince him to care even if he understands your perspective

Yeah, I got to say, I’m currently at chapter 105 and this man can not be described as heartless, numb maybe, desensitized would be a reach, but heartless is not a word that should be used to describe him. Even before we get pov, heartless would be the word to use
