Review Detail of the_lady_doth_NGAF in The Concubine

I'm a nearly 50 chapters into this book and I'm having a lot of fun reading it. It's well written with minimal to no grammar errors. The world building is well done but not overdone. some books focus so much on world building with intricate details that are multiple chapters long so much so that you forget the plot to begin with. This one introduces you to the world gradually but not in a confusing way. I love that the female lead is smart and rational minded and mentally and emotionally tough but she's not a thug or a bully. she doesn't act unless someone attacks her first even the host family who have previously tried to kill her. I also like how finally, after a web novel trend of so many male leads treating a female lead like garbage and we're suddenly supposed to believe that they're in love, we have a male lead who genuinely seems to develop a crush on her and treats her nicely He just seems to be a bit socially awkward and tsundere which actually is endearing him to me a little bit. I'm also enjoying that there's some forensic mystery mixed into all of this as a true crime fanatic lol. overall it's a fun read and I'm looking forward to its further development
