Review Detail of Fleure in Reverend Ecstasy

The title and the first few chapters are very misleading. This is a novel with surprising quality, I started reading it thinking it would be just a sexual fantasy novel, and don't get me wrong, it still is, but it also has a plot and the characters end up being more developed than you expected at first, some plotlines build-up and get more complicated as time goes by and they aren't resolved in the most obvious or easy way. The author includes some really cute and endearing emotional moments between the mc and the girls in his harem, which makes me believe that he genuinely likes them. After getting to the most recent chapter I went to read the author's previous work "Profane prince of domination" and I can say that I'm really happy to see how much the author improved as a story teller, profane prince was a pure sex fantasy, but had a hard time going beyond that, the mc didn't even seem to like having sex after some time, acting as if it was a chore, his harem's members being sorely lacking in development and participation on the story, their relationship with him being basically just sex. Xinzi, on the other hand, seems to be delighted by the company of his girls, he is upfront about his polygamy, tends to consider and value what his harem wants to do, respects consent to a surprising extent. I'm very surprised that a novel that has a harem-seeking mc, is named Reverend ecstasy, and has a lot of sex in it managed to be more respectful to women than your average novel.
