I rated this five star for everything. Honestly, I came charging into this web novel after Chapter 31 and especially 32 of the webtoon. I had enough of the Omerta siblings. Sick of them. I was ready for blood. But I’m glad I came looking for answers. The writing quality is impeccable. I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed a web novel since The Trash of the Count’s family which is my number one favorite of all time (read it four times and counting). The lines, the word choices, the grammar, the hook, the suspense, the wit, everything. The story development is captivating. I cannot put this story down. It’s the kind of story you save when you have consecutive days off alone and you know no one would bother you. This is not something to read callously in public. I know I can’t because I cried and cried. The characters are realistic and not overly exaggerated. I love the first person perspective from Ruby which is something I don’t normally go for. Her thought process is a gem. Her wit, humor, tenacity, her kindness. She’s lovely. I love her. She’s so strong. She doesn’t dwell on how pitiful she is. She keeps on, she pushes forward to the point of numbness, just like her flower name.

LIKEYes, and it’s beautifully done. They change some parts to make the story flow more conveniently for the webtoon’s sake, but the changes don’t alter the story significantly.
drey_8938:is there a webtoon version of this novel?
