I tried but I couldn't like the protagonist of this story. Maybe it's my sentimental "I" speaking...but I think the character lacks empathy. She doesn't see anything around her but herself. In her mind she is the only real one, while the others are characters in a book, so for her it's not worth the approach, or what happens to them. Yes, she is special. It came to a world created in a book , so far I understand ... But in the world of the book those people are real with pain and joy . So his behavior made me feel bad, especially for the teenager. ( well that is my opinion , i expected something different ... anyway , maybe other people liked it 🙃)

15 chapters in and... nothing.. nothing interesting, No story line, No drama. Nothing just a bunch of random events with no explanation and a boring cold step son and father who barley even exist.

this story has a potential but unfortunately it collapsed on the end. the story was too rushed, it has many unsolved issues. is the author not guilty for leaving us like this? the story's concept was really nice, but i guess i expected too much. i really can't explain how disappointed i am right now. i was expecting to see Lu Bei finally accepting the fl as her stepmother. i was expecting to read some wholesome mother and son moments. and i wanted to see Lu Bei and his father finally communicating properly with each other. the conflict of the story was not even solved and the author just put the story to an end. sigh, i don't recommend reading this book.

This is an easy, relatively short and sweet read with the caveat that it wrapped up very suddenly and left a number of foundational questions unanswered. The male lead and the stepson's characters and the female lead's interactions with them as a mediator were a refreshing shift of focus from many other stories in this genre. I also enjoyed that there was no "handoff" upon transmigration and so our female lead had to figure out the world and her relationships with others on the go. With that said, I find it hard to recommend for two reasons: the female lead's character feels somewhat shallowly developed, and the ending is quite rushed. Despite 170 chapters we never really get a sense of the lead's actual goals/interests, apart from making money. She lacks the curiosity and empathy that I would normally expect to find in such stories, and this made it hard to like her at many points throughout the story because it took a very, very long time to develop meaningful relationships with her husband and stepson. (In contrast, we are told she rapidly befriends minor characters like a teacher, a neighbor, etc.) The other issue is that there were a bunch of somewhat important unanswered questions because it looks like the author dropped the story--so we get hints of a more complicated background story for the female lead and a complex reason for why she got married to the male lead, but they are both really unexplored and the ending thus feels very abrupt.

I am heart broken. This novel has been dropped by the author i was really enjoying this novel. it's quite different from the one usually on the app plus their was so much potential for this story to grow Hopefully the author would pick it up again and continue this story

Initially, I wanted to give 5 stars all around, but due to its rushed and incomplete ending I could not. I was totally invested in the progress and was hoping for closure and finding out the fl true identity. that never happened. this was a beautiful story with lots of potential, however the abrupt ending made me feel annoyed. too many questions were left unanswered.
