I don't understand what "edginess" is this that you're talking about, can you give a examples, or a more detailed explanation? I read it, and i dind't find such things, Victor(MC) isn't the kind to flex his powers nor his abilities. He cares for his lovers, protect his group, helps in every single departament in need, and is always working for the better of his people. So i really don't get your review, it does't make much sense to me.
