There is nothing new in this novel and the story isn't good enough to make it worth reading. The FL was totally in love with the man who killed her but like... fell in love in one second with her ex-husband because he tried to save her? And just like that, she knows who exactly schemed against her even though she was still calling her murderer "hubby" before ex-husband barged in. Sorry but... What????? Please author, write your characters a little better, okay? If you want her to know who schemed against her, at least make her a ghost for a while or something because she died but still knows who else besides her murderer was against her? 🤔 And that ML! Seriously, don't always make the FL the one to blame in their failed relationships when the dude can't even be bothered to say one sentence to explain himself. He's not even trying. Just picks her up like some potato bag. People, of you want to read that kind of plot, just look for another novel. There are plenty like this on this website that are better written.

Hahaha 🤣. They always fall in love just before they die when they see the ML save them. Either that, or they die and their ghost floats around or the get to see what happens after their death in some other way. Then they are like: ‘Omygosh, he loved me now I love him too💜💕💘’. I personally don’t think love works that way, but sometimes the author manages to pull it off to make it believable. Sometimes not.

The basis of this couple’s relationship is actually messed up. 25 chapter review with spoilers ahead: 👗 FL: Mistreated her husband, the ML, terribly in her past life. This woman went as far as drugging him so that he would sleep with another woman - just so that she could get him to divorce her. She was cruel. She also only married him for her fathers business. So she was a gold-digger. Obviously she was betrayed by the man she loved and left her husband for. He was hooking up with her sister. In her final breaths before she died the ML sacrifices his life in an attempt to save her and that’s when she realizes that she loves him because he loved her all this time🤯. 🙍🏻‍♂️ML: He never told the FL about his feelings for her and was basically cold in the marriage. However his love was more of an unhealthy obsession with her which is why he wanted to marry her. I can’t help but feel that he enjoyed the pain that the FL inflicted on him honestly. This guy is a sucker for punishment. He specifically says that even if she’s faking her affection and hurts him in the future, it’s all worth it🤦🏽‍♀️. I personally feel like they have an unhealthy relationship, but I should probably not judge as these two people are choosing to be with each other. While I think the ML should have found someone more worthy of him, and someone who loved him equally in his past life, at the end of the day, everyone has a different idea of what love is. The rest of the story is not that interesting to me so far. FL is obsessed with giving her ex and sister a slow and long type of revenge. So, she does not cut off complete communication with scum ex and still takes his calls and meets up with him 🤦🏽‍♀️. So far I’m not sure how smart she really is. Mediocre story with mediocre characters. Not gripping. This book is not my personal cup of tea, so only 2 stars ⭐️.

I like the ML but I slightly dislike the FL. The reason that I dislike her is that she pretends to be forced to be with the ML when she is around the antagonists. It's a plan that makes sense but I feel that if the ML overhears it or if she is recorded by someone, there is definitely going to be a misunderstanding. The ML can't trust her fully because of their past and if this sort of thing happens, I fear that all the progress she has gained after her rebirth will be lost. People always need to make choices and I feel that she could gain revenge without having double standards with regards to the ML.

I find Song Xi’s character so weak. She’s always outdone by all the white lotuses around her. As a reborn, of course I have ni expectations of supernatural powers, but being coquettish is not a good trait at all.

I like the story but I don't like how the FL treats the ML, she should show that she changed and not pretending but instead she still talk and meet with her ex and she doesn't resist in front of many people that could photograph them and she already know that her sister is scheming she still do what she says. I hope the story will improve.
