I've said this so many times in regard to isekai or fantasy in general, if a sword can do bs power attacks why cant a gun? Guns are mans most deadliest weapon ever created, so if swords and other weapons can be idiotically powerful, why not guns with bs magical powers as well? Bows pale in comparison to guns, yet they always use the primitive bows and not a gun. Is a sword or bow or any other weapon faster and more powerful than gun technology? No, is a magic sword faster or more powerful than a magically enhanced gun? Nope, nada, never, not at all.

Who says it wont? Guns and the tech that comes with it isnt stagnant. It's always expanding and upgrading. Plus you could add magic aspects to the guns, nothing's going to stop a hypersonic AP round from a distance, add on high tech and even some magic, then that's one expensive bullet.

It won't keep up to instantaneous or "the mind is the trigger" weapons and they are omnidirectional btw.

And if you put those to a gun then you don't need a gun anyway because magic is faster and more effective
