Review Detail of Minion14 in Naruto the Uzumaki

I swear I’ve read this story before on fanfiction.net. Maybe it’s my imagination or something I don’t really care. Romance is weird and is a bit forced, but can mostly be ignored. It’s just a small annoyance while reading really. The main thing that annoys me are the characters in the story. The fact that every shinobi just crumples into guilt and self-loathing as soon as they see Naruto cry is cringy to me. No one was actually really close enough to Naruto to elicit that type of reaction out of themselves when they see him cry. Naruto hasn’t even seen Kakashi yet, and yet he’s close enough to Kakashi to make him cry. All the characters just goes into little balls of depression and guilt whenever they see Naruto sad. Which is kinda awkward not gonna lie. These extremely jaded people crying over some orphan child they barely know. Sure said orphan is the son of their friend, but they never actually interacted with him to form any attactchment whatsoever. I’m going to make a comparison to real life now. When I see those ads about starving children in Africa or something I feel sad, but I’m not going to cry about it. Honestly we’ve probably seen hundreds of ads about charity, but realistically only .01% of us actually donate a substantial amount of money to help someone.

No... I don't remember posting this on fanfiction.net. Two, if you bothered to read the tags or synopsis, you would know this fanfic was primarily a slow-paced/slice-of-life romance. And yes while normal people wouldn't really care about a random crying kid, it would slightly sour their day like you said. Seeing those ads made you 'feel sad'. Not to mention a kid of someone they were close with, like idk, say a friend/co-worker/teacher/leader/successor? Also you lost me at the last part of your review. Like am I supposed to care on what you think of those ads or charity organizations?
Just ignore the last part of my review, but you know it’s physically impossible for a person to form attachments with someone they never interacted with. Sure he’s the son of their friend, but how in the world are they supposed to care about him if they never interacted with him. Maybe I’m not as empathetic as a normal person, but these shinobis should’ve way less empathy then me. I honestly think they just won’t care what happens to Naruto untill they actually get close to each other.

You’re right about people not forming attachments to someone they’ve never seen but they aren’t breaking down because of Naruto’s pain. They are breaking down from the memory of Minato. They are guilty because the son of their dead friend and leader, who saved their lives on multiple occasions and even gave his own life to protect them, is suffering and they didn’t even bother to check up on him. These guy’s aren’t nameless civilians, it’s like if a childhood friend to a big company’s CEO gave his life to save the CEO’s wife from dying and the CEO just found out his friend’s kid is being abused, neglected and starving to death. Wouldn’t that CEO feel guilty if he did nothing? Not that he would need to adopt the kid but he could get the kid a job or have the abusers arrested at least. And Ino is crying because she’s the boy she’s got a crush on is hurting.

yo please dont drop this and continue this while some people are uncultured swines and have no taste i have great taste and this is amazing so far so please come back from the 3month break
