The story is fine, has a bit of a dark vibe, but nothing too emo. 50 to 70 percent of each mini chapter is a massive stats spam. Its causing me to dislike the story a lot. There's no point reading this if you don't binge read it from start to finish. The chapters are too small to be interesting or memorable by themselves, so you won't remember what the story was like with a new update, the chapters are just too short to allow for such reorientation. So whilst the story is interesting on the whole, I dont recommend reading it untill it's fully released or changes the chapter sizes to not primarily reach a word count through an often times irrelevant and unchanged stats spam. I honestly recommend the author to post like 1500 words at a min., and up to to 2500 words per chapter minus stats. That's what the wn guidelines recommend for contests as well.

This is an exclusive for my P-a-t-r-e-o-n. I'm not going to sign this story to Webnovel or any of my other works. The Stat spam isn't to fill up word space, cause it doesn't matter to me. 750 words are far more manageable than 1500. On average, I write 2 and a half books worth in words a month. So you and everyone else will have to deal with it. Regarding the stats, I have them there so I can refer to the information at any time, and so can the readers. It's updated as the story goes along, so I don't forget anything like I have with The Ancients World. Thanks for the review, if not biased towards Webnovel, if you knew how horrible they treat us authors, you wouldn't have written this review.

None of that changes that this story in my opinion is better to be binge read once its entirely released because the smaller than normal on your part chapter sizes don't work for staggard releases. If money is the issue. You could always self publish it on a volume by volume basis on Am azon or Patr eon if that's what you prefer. The fact remains however that unlike your other stories, the chapter sizes and content in this story aren't as suited to the staggared release format wn uses at this interval/release rate. An issue your other stories don't suffer much from with their larger chapter sizes giving people about twice the amount of time to reorrient themselves to the story making for a easier continuation after a long wait for an update. But yeah if money is your angle, then I recommend looking into multiple sources as well as putting up a Google translated version of your current stories on popular fanfic sites of said language it's counterpart with their own donation systems and the like. Imagine how many people you might reach with merely a Google translate of your stories in merely Chinese or Spanish. Food for thought I'd say. But I'm still sticking to my words about the suitability of this story for a mini chapter by mini chapter staggared release.

You bring up valid and genuine points that have real value, and you're right in the sense this is better for binge reading. It's just I don't want a misconception going around that I'm signing this story to Webnovel, and I'm trying to stat spam for word count. This is never going to be Webnovel's story. That's all I'm trying to do. People can ignore the stat spam. It's still around 750 words a chapter/page without that at the bottom of every chapter.

That's fine. I didn't said you were doing so for the word count. Just that I found the stats spam. As large or larger than the actual chapter content itself annoying, and gave my recommendation based on my opinion in regards to how to best read it. It was in no way my intention to insinuate that you were using stats spams to reach a wn monetization favouring words count. I only named wn in the first place as an indicator as to what they with their hands at the internal diagnostic tools believe to be the most favorable word count per chapter for staggered releases based on their contest recommendations. Quite frankly, I think wn has nothing to offer authors when it comes to their offered contracts.

I agree that stat spamming is annoying, and it does get bothersome in this novel. I've read it, and it does get in the way, but I use the stats at the bottom of the pages just as much as I have been annoyed by them. You're right in that regard, but I can't remember everything about all the stories that I write, and this helps me and readers who want to keep track of the finer details of the story. It may be inconvenient and annoying, but it's necessary for me.
