I mean the author of this story probably published it on faloo, where Webnovel just snatched it away and MTL'd it with new names (People, places, cities and planets.), new cover and a new title that is similar to the original, but not the same. On faloo, from what I heard, you get paid based on wordcount, so they couldn't care about quality, only quantity. Mass produce as many chapters per story a week, get paid mininal wages, new story, rinse and repeat.
