I think this novel has potential but the translation errors are crippling it. The system that the MC receives is OP but it plays a minor role in the plot. I am interested to see how Mas (MC) develops. As I mentioned before there are translation errors that start to ruin the immersion of the story. If it does get picked I hope that the quality increases. Overall I enjoyed this in spite of the errors. It would probably be amazing if it was better translated.

I hate you, you got my hopes up talking about alchemy but it’s really just a monster factory novel. this is a disgrace to the word alchemy, alchemy should be classified as ether pill or potion concocting. Ok rant over, lol.

Yes, this may be just another transmigration novel. Yes, it may have an op system. But how often do you see webnovels about Alchemy? I’m a sucker for alchemy-themed novels! Even if the plot is basic and overused, it still is about alchemy! I will take it!

The novel is only so-so. There are flaws with logic and overall there's no depth. Just gain a system and become cocky overnight. He was so desperate before obtaining it... and is still stupid after obtaining it.

Pretty much garbage. It's poorly translated. If that was all there was to it I may be able to give it somewhat of a pass, but unfortunately the content is just as poor as the translation.

Legitimately one of the worst things I've ever read. The author constantly messes up their own numbers, changing the ranks of things willy nilly. The story was supposed to be about alchemy, but the author quickly makes the MC perfect at literally everything. Magic, strength, alchemy. The author constantly hammers in how hard it is to fight above your level, yet the MC's alchemical creatures are consistently able to fight 1-2 levels above themselves with extreme ease. Adding on to this, the MC makes a potion to make himself a 3-star expert, but is able to overpower a 5-star expert. How? Bad writing, that's how. Why is it so easy to obtain legendary alchemy materials? Everybody and their grandmothers seem to have a least tier 6 alchemy materials. The materials always have some sort of mythical story behind it, but then the MC magically has 5 more. It's ridiculous. Everything is constantly measured in the cost of gold coins, despite how very very obvious it is that the monetary system is completely made up and the numbers thrown around are entirely random. I'm angry I've wasted any iota of my time on this sack of actual rotting garbage.

Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR.
