I take back my previous review. The story development is extremely slow. It took him 130 chapters to go up one major realm. He is the most naive and frustrating manhua character I have ever seen. He is naive in a way that isnt funny or likeable, He is strong, but falls into the palm of literally anyone with common sense. The ranks of martial arts, mental arts, weapons, and demons are all confusing. In the beginning there are several unrelated people all called "Xia" then there is the Wu and Liu. There is Mr Xia, the Prefect Xia, and lord Xia. If they arent in one family use a different name. Once again he is THE most naive character. He has a cool power in they show in the beginning, the "book", but the he completely forgets that power for like 50 chapters It is his main trump card but he completely forgets about any possibilities of using a different monster from the book. Seriously man, I want to read a modern cultivation series, but there are points in this story that made me wanna drop.

Really? He wasn’t Naive in the novel, if anything he’s quite smart. At least up to to the translated parts.
