The writing quality is rather good but the story of the shadow hunters is just such a Mish mash of ideas that it all feels so disconnected for teen wolf even with the addition of the argents. The author added way too much timeskips that makes the story even more messy. Even though the mc is so powerful he barely does anything or if he does it is explained in such a boring way because everything is in 3rd person pov so it's not immersive. It's like we are not reading about Alexander's story but a story that just so happens to have Alexander in it

This chapter of Kate and the Hale Fire along with her actually wanting Derek which might have been true in Teenwolf before Gerard manipulated her but it certainly is quite intriguing and interesting plot twist wonder who was the actual assailant and what will happen next definitely cant wait for when ur able to get the chance to continue on with this book
