First off, I have no issues with Western names as long as they’re the original ones from the raw. But they changed the characters names as well as the place of the plot. California, USA… all good. The original place for the novel was set on China. Is this to cater to us who lives here in The states? It’s like changing Harry Potter’s name to Hei Baotei or something like that and changing Britain setting to China. I believe HP fans will create a massive riot and boycotting right?! Original name of the FL was SU NANQING (Alias: Dr. ANTI this alias was maintained i The translation); ML: HUO JUNYAO their son’s name: HUO XICHEN; daughter’s name: SU XIAOGUO; ML’s brother: HUO CHENYI. You decide. Is the translator going to take this work as his own and not credit it to the author? Or do they think that USA readers are not qualified to know the real names that the author originally set down for the novel. Translators, please explain!

This story is 5% (extra slow-paced) romance, 25% main characters having secret identities that are so conveniently perfect, 70% antagonists being social climbers/insecure/stupid/braggarts, and 100% frustrating with long-stretched misuderstandings. 200 chapters and they're still unreasonably hiding the truth from the other party all the while both parties are already aware.

The most stingy story/author of all the novels I've read!!!!!! At the most 2 Chapters a Day!!! after I got charged a lot for VIP/supposed Privilege Chapters.. what a joke!! And to think I'm someone used to reading a whole book in one week if not within 24 hours! If any of you has the patience, go on keep on reading.. and waiting .. and waiting.. I've been keeping up with the current releases so my review may include vague spoilers. First, I actually do like how FL is able to handle things, though I do find it a bit weird how she's always sleeping & described as lazy - like is there a health reason? I'm very curious to find out exactly how she became pregnant. I don't mind ML because he's taken a liking to FL & he isn't one of those controlling/abusive MLs. It's actually funny when he misunderstands FL's intentions. As for the kids, I find Cherry kind of annoying & the chapters about her streaming a waste. There are kind of a lot of characters who are introduced, mostly for the sake of starting arguments, & they randomly appear/disappear so I don't really like that either. But, I still think it's one of the better stories I'm currently reading.
