Western name Clive in a Chinese environment. Didn't even read through chapter one and I gave up lol. Mc name Clive but he studies in zhenyang(?) school or something. So yeah, it's a pass for me. Correct me if I'm wrong, like if the author actually explain why he is called Clive instead of a chinese name. A backstory or something else ..

This is actually on webnovel's part. I think I saw someone saying that webnovel changes the mc name to avoid some royalty, I'm not sure though

Yeah TV this is not the only nov ed l with this type of irregularity. some of them even make the background western but all the customs are Asian. imagine a MC with a western name in a western background bowing as a greeting? it kinda throws me off.

So true. I read a Marvel fan-fic with Chinese MC reincarnated as a normal white mail. But later on, he discovered that he had some "yellow/chinese" blood. Also, he got to know Magneto's daughter Polaris. She lived with him and hated her father. Went to meet him once & break her relationship. "Polaris kneeled down in front of Magneto and kowtowed three times, knocking her head on Ground... This is to greet you for giving birth to me Magneto. With this kowtow, we are no longer father & daughter". ....Meowx3, wt??
