Is it the best? No. But is it leagues beyond the normal novels seen on Webnovel? Yes. My main problems with the novel are how the author uses the past tense(as many novels oddly do) and that the author sometimes rushes describing certain scenes. For example, when character A finds out about character B's secret, character A quickly accepted the secret and suddenly there was something to make character A expect it. I would have liked a lot more character development such as if Character A had a reason to expect this to happen and then there's some more explanation upon finding out. It could've also led to a situation where character B tells character A about the secret upon learning that it isn't unusual. Besides those two main flaws, I highly recommend the book since it's pretty good.

I also really like this novel, especially how solid and well-constructed it is. But there are also these two points that bother me . First is how the author ends up wanting to make a drama for any subject, as you yourself gave the example, the secrets he makes so much effort to hide from the protagonist and reader are so silly, simple and meaningless that when I find out about them I feel more a sense of irritation and agony than discovery or anything like that. Another point is also that the protagonist hardly interacts with his companions (I'm in chapter 60) he always wants to say something but says he'll leave it for later. Simple things that anyone would say in a normal conversation, and you're left wondering why he doesn't go there and interact or just chat normally. In fact, one last point, the protagonist is not being very proactive or creative, he doesn't try to understand things more deeply, he just does what Zirani tells him, he has no incentive to self-promote or grow by himself and his understanding. I don't want a genius, but he just seems very inactive.
