Review Detail of IkuSaari in Lord Qui, I'm Nothing But a Mere Mortal

Yes, it's as good as I hoped it would be. Yes, there are bits and pieces with tense, grammar and such that feel a bit off. Does it bother me one bit? No. As with all romancey books, this one feels like a bit of a guilty pleasure to me, but that's not a bad thing. The dialogue is very nice to read, I like the way the characters interact with each other, it's good how the author brings up emotions in an organic way, right beside the actions that make total sense when considering both the hidden and visible motivations of the characters. The plot is dynamic and there is *gasp* little, if any, filler. Overall, the pacing, the language and the vivid worldbuilding bump the rating up to a perfect one, although if I could, I would rate this as 4.999.
