I lament at the scarcity nowadays on this site of good, thought-out stories. That said, this fic is one of the few; of the 6 chapters out so far, all were released within a single day, showing the author's ability to either make up incredibly detailed plotlines within a single session, or to show the restraint nessesary to making a coherent, long-term plan. Both of which are incredible skills to have. Alongside that, the setting of the story itself is as original as a fan-fic can get. as far as I know, there are no similar fics with this kind of match up. Another good point is the MC. He is able to be related to, or at least empathized with. as observed by the Ancient One, he is broken inside due to his experience with loss and career as a soldier, but he is able to move on. He is selfish in his actions, but almost always finds a way to benefit someone other than himself. And still there is more! The writing is amazing compared to most other fics on Webnovel. I have already discussed the author's ability to actually plan a coherent story, so I will instead focus on the grammar, which is just as good. There are very few minor punctuation mistakes and no major errors such as misspelled or repeated words. I look forward to new updates and give my heartfelt recommendation to anyone looking for a good read.
