Usually, I wait until there's at least 40 chapters to leave a review but with the 30 chapters released there's enough to warn fellow readers. Also, the rating is as high as it is because of the translation quality. I know for some people an age gap isn't a big deal HOWEVER when it's a 12/13 age gap between a TEENAGER (16/17) & an ADULT (29/30) who is a FOSTER PARENT, then there is a problem. Grooming is definitely happening here as the foster dad is "waiting" for FL, though that hasn't stopped him from kissing her & touching her using the excuse of his profession as a doctor. He even tries to force himself on her as he gets upset that he's losing control over her & her interest in him is fading. The scenes between them can be uncomfortable to read, especially when FL herself knows his actions aren't right but somehow the feelings of the original FL accept it (which doesn't make sense since she's able to reject the feelings OG FL had towards someone else). I don't know if he's the ML, because FL has a couple of boys around her, but it does seem like he'll be around for a while & his behavior will only grow worse. Because of that, I hope this story doesn't get selected but I fear it will be.

SAMME THO like the plot idea and some elements were pretty good for some of them but i just didn't like any of them overall. đȘđȘ

I didn't even look at the amount of views but I hope you're right since I thought the story would get better a bit (with FL kicking the foster father to the curb) but it only got worse. Excluding the stories that have already been picked, I only didn't read one of the trial reads. I think "I Became the Male Lead's Stepmother After Transmigrating" isn't so bad, as it's a bit different from other transmigrating stories so far, but there really weren't any standout reads.

well maybe it's not the actual story plot that's actually that bad. i've ready hundreds of these novels on here and so i guess i have very critical standards now for how the novel is actually written. like even if the plot is pretty good if the writing doesn't make everything flow and kinda seems cringy (i guess) then it makes me not that interested. i did read that one and it was the different plot trope that attracted me but then the execution wasn't that good. imo, there were too many unnecessary details that broke the flow of the story which made me stop reading it but ig it just depends on whether a novel suits your standards đ€·ââïž

I'm glad you said this because here I was thinking I was the only one who thought this. This batch of trial read was by far the most uninteresting read.
