Despite his desperate want to nap and avoid plot, Torifū is shoved onto the front lines of every major catastrophe, forced to clean up messes left by legends and lunatics just so he can earn enough "Peace Points" to slack off.
Meanwhile, the ninja world's elite are utterly convinced he's a selfless, benevolent god:
Senju Hashirama: “Torifū is the true guardian of Konoha! His power shames even my own!”
Senju Tobirama: “His strategic mind saved my life. He is the definition of a shinobi.”
Sarutobi Hiruzen: “He refuses the title, but Torifū is the greatest Hokage we never had.”
Shimura Danzo: “Forget root! I'm building a gacha game empire under his glorious, profit-minded shadow!”
After decades of reluctantly saving the world, Torifū finally completes the system's final chaotic task. He drops his headband, ready for a well-earned lifetime of naps and nickel-and-dime D-ranks.
He looks back at the village—now a utopian superpower feared only for its overwhelming peace and prosperity—and has a horrifying realization. Through a series of unfortunate, high-powered accidents… he’s become the undisputed God of Shinobi.
