I am the author and after writing for more than 400 chaps, I would like to inform that if you are here for a mc who is super smart, smart with relationship, and is practical then this story is not for you; along with slow paced. The MC is dense and slowly develops character, and even if he has lived for 5000 years, he still is a simple guy, who has less EQ. The story is very slow paced, but if you are willing to read it I can tell you that you will definitely feel some change within.

I took my time to finally read it, as I said I would before. Well, take this review with a grain of salt since I'm someone who doesn't like harem stories. Yes, my first issue is with the 'all girls are falling for MC' problem. That truly irritates me, but some people might like it. What about the mc's previous life friends? So far, only five years passed on Earth, right? How come only women keep appearing? Other than you typical villain men, the mc doesn't have a single friend of the same genre. It's all women, women, and more women. Is that even possible? At the very least, that was the case until the chapter I stopped reading. What about his real wife? Like, she is happy he came back... but that is all she feels... It's like she simply doesn't care at all about what happened in the last five years he was gone. It's all 'I'm happy he is back.' 'everything will be fine now that he is back' those are basically the only thoughts in her head. I thought she was supposed to be a much stronger woman after living the challenges of raising a kid five years alone. Suddenly, she became a broken doll out of nowhere. Last but not least, the descriptions. I truly can't emphasize with overly descriptive stories. I don't need to know how beautiful or run-down a place is to its minimal details. All I need to know is that it looks bad or good. Unless the description of a place or things like that is necessary for the story itself, all those detail are completely meaningless. I literally jumped at least 30 to 40% of the paragraphs in the chapters I read because I already knew that it was all a bunch of unnecessary words. I want to read a story, not an architecture project. Give, me, a, story! Of course, there were good points in the story too: Writing quality. It is definitely much better than my own books. Hahaha! I have nothing to complain in this department. Updates are fine too. They are consistent as far as I can see. This is definitely the point of a good author. The story itself had potential, at least when I read the synopsis. It really caught my eye... until the problems I mentioned appeared. PS: This last part is basically a personal taste. It has nothing to do with the author or the story. Anyway, the thing about Chinese names everywhere, including the cultivation world the MC came from. I mean, come on! What are the chances that the guy was Chinese and everyone in his world were all Chinese? The chances are ridiculously low, but that's exactly what happens. Remember, chances wise, that shouldn't be the case at all. As I said, this is just a personal taste. It has nothing to do with the story. If the author wishes that every single stone has a Chinese origin, it is fine.

About the cover copyrights, I doubt Pony Canyon, TBS, Movic, Animation Do will come here to complain... unless your book suddenly shot to top 1 charts, but at that time, you probably will have commissioned your own cover. xD By the way, as it looks like author doesn't know, this is a cover related to the anime Clannad. Now, about the book. It looks very good, and I like the premise in the synopses. Gonna check it out later.

The writing style of the author at the beginning of the story had a nick and pick at places. But the later chaps show that the author has improved his writing style. It is really difficult to follow the schedule and keep up with stable updates. So it is commendable. I like how it was not only abt coming back for his wife but also for his daughter. The daughter's character makes the novel a bit more fluffy. CRITICISM- There are some paras that are loaded with information that makes you wanna skip it(at the beginning of the novel). But it ends up being some useful info which I feel like I later missed. So don't put too much info when a character is introduced-since there are people who try out the novel without having an ounce of knowledge on cultivation. They may feel difficulty in reading it. Except for this, I think it is a great story.

I don't mind reading slice of life novels but this is too much. 200 chapters in and it's only been two days in the novel. just makes it too slow. it was around chapter 30 when they were at the old age home and made plans to have a party three days later and now we are around chapter 200 and it's still not at the party. also don't like the fact that he knows of three people who want kidnap and r*pe his wife and he just guys... meh I'll teach them a lesson if they go to far.

It is an interesting story, the writing quality is good, stability is good, story development isn't new but has enough new elements that to make it interesting. The character design is typical of urban novels in fact sometimes a little to similar, but mc has child making it better. The MC isn't all that great, he is infected with the denseness, but also the good guy, forgiving type giving everyone 100 chances and he does not trying to get to bottom of things, it is hard to imagine him as an old wise person. The world building up this point isn't done too much but based on everything else it would probably be decent. Don't expect a vastly different story then other urban stories, but I liked it. So if you are fan of the genre and tags then give a go. The MC is a bit annoying at times but it is only 32 chapter up to this point and hopefully he will change.

A newbie at creating by myself if you like the story you can definitely like and vote. The story will give you the joy of having a daughter and the emotional bonding and love they share. Definitely will not make you cry but touch your heart. [img=recommend][img=coins][img=exp]

All I can say is that there is a new cliche at every turn> I honestly expected something new and fresh but there are young masters, selling charms, and sparing enemies left and right. All the characters are one-dimensional, even the mc himself. And when I say cliche, I meant this book has the most cliches I have seen in every novel I have ever read, which is a lot. I think the only reason this book doesn't have negative reviews is because nobody bothered to read it, or they were deleted.

(1+3+1+3+2)/5=2 The author's trying to put a novel together and mixing troupes from this and other genres. that's alright. and the author tries to be a chill dude who keeps in touch with his work and new comers. so being honestly critical starts to feel a little hard. The editing honestly hurts. for any defenders of this English; alright, we grew up with a completely different version of English. This doesn't match my experience with either American, British, Australian English or any other. I'm slightly confused as the few replies to my comments from the author led to me believing that he/she actually doesn't have a problem with English. side note if anyone is interested in a bit of reality. a woman who deals with stress for any amount of time wilts. The same goes for men. in other words they lose their aesthetic and raw sexual appeal. For a story and a fantasy's sake, i can see and mostly agree that it doesn't matter. I have however seen this so much that I'm now tired of it. stay healthy folks.

I mostly expected face slapping and an OP mc going into this... and I wasnt disappointed. However, it turned into one of the most wholesome webnovels I've read so far. I would definitely recommend at least reading a couple of chapters and giving it a try.
