This is a fun adventure/fantasy series with an interesting cast of characters. I enjoyed reading it quite a lot and persevered, despite the numerous grammatical errors. The plot, characters, and setting are all things I want to learn more about. I got hooked on this series pretty quickly. The weaknesses here are first and foremost the grammar. Some sentences don't have their first letter capitalized, and some paragraphs are blocks of text and not divided into multiple paragraphs where they should be. The speech of different characters should be separated into individual paragraphs as well. The story line is intriguing with a plot I feel somewhat invested in. Some of the writing seems to lose direction and focus at times, which is extremely common with new writers. It would help to be more specific and detailed with several scenes than just wrapping them up in a dull summary. Overall, this series has a lot of potential and room for growth as long as the writer can persist in his or her efforts.
