Hey, I got a question which is better unrivaled or unparalleled talent in cultivation.

I think they're supposed to mean the same thing but I would personally say unrivaled is better. TL;DR Unparalleled means no one is your equal, maybe someone is better than you though. Unrivaled means no one can match up to you and there's probably no one more talented than you that you can see. ‐----------- Unparalleled means no one is parallel to you, meaning no one has an equal level of talent as you. But that doesn't necessarily eliminate the possibility that someone is superior to you. A rival is someone you can compete against to improve and compare so it's possible to have a rival stronger than you. So being unrivaled means no one is able to match up to you. But there's still the possibility that someone is vastly superior to you that you can't even compare so you wouldn't be able to call yourself their rival.

what would be a better word then, I want the character to be the best talent in cultivation where no one can compete against him. I would say godlike is one

Lol I feel like you're overthinking it a bit, just use the word you feel flows the best. Strictly speaking in linguistics, I believe unrivaled would be ranked higher than unparalleled, but if I were to read it in a novel they would both mean the exact same to me.

Umm.. I think Unrivaled would mean that No-one is your Equal.. While Unparalleled would mean that On-one has your Talents.. So, Unrivaled means you are Already the Strongest.. Unparalleled means you are Weak but, Your Talents are the Best..

Well, Godlike just means you have a Similar power to whatever you assume a True God has.. It doesn't make you Strong.. Just Similar to Gods in Power Systems..

If your Image of a 'God' is Strength then as long as a Person is the Strongest (Physically) in their Rank then they are Godlike.. If your Image is All-Knowing then as long a Person can Access Knowledge Freely then they are Godlike.. If your Image is Immortality then as long as a Person is Extreamly Hard to Kill then they are Godlike..

Well, Not Really.. Are you going for Weak to Strong (Unparalleled).. Strongest and Already at the Top (Unrivalled).. Or Weak to One of the Strongest Beings (Godlike)

godlike one of the strongest beings, it's better to go with weak to strong instead being in the top already after all it's more fun fighting as you grow.

[Godlike Is the Strongest in his Rank but God's are just that Gods (Godlike has a Cap to How strong a Person can Become in the end.. They usually have the Lowest Talent out of the Three)]

Yes - If your Goal is to be the Strongest in your Rank with No Struggling in the Early Stages then Godlike is the best one..

Your right, you could have the most talent but if you got killed before becoming the strongest. Could the godlike talent grow or not?

But also Remember that Godlike is not Unique.. It requires Hardly any Talent and the World you Build may have Many different God of Different Strengths and Abilities.. and You may have Mutliple People Using the same Gods Powers or Other Gods Powers that Restict yours

Well.. If your Godlike Power takes after a.. Lets say Fire God.. Then you can at Best be nearly as strong as him in the end.. Until you would Replace them.. And then you would then need to find New and Unkown ways to Improve your Strength.. But the Previous God of Fire wouldn't just wait for you to come and kill it and it also would have Spent 100,000's Years trying any and all ways to improve its Strength

Here is a Analogy (I Think): Unparalleled can Become Unrivaled; Unrivaled was Unparalleled; Godlike are what Unrivaled Kill for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner..

This is what I don't understand when I read most cultivation novels, the mc knows he will got stronger but why doesn't he think the enemy will also grow. most of the time they think the enemy will just stay at the same level.

Well, most MC's Rely on Plot Armour and the Hope that They will only ever Widen the Gap between Them and Others until It doesn't Matter anymore..
