I've read 295 chapters. Initially I liked the story. MC is ruthless. After reading some chapters I started to see some discrepancies. Sure MC is sacrificing quite a few years of life and gaining some temporary boosts but how is he going to cover this loss of life years(I mean he mentioned that as ranking grows mage will receive new years of life. Other than this does MC has any template of how he is going to address this issue?). He said he wants to aim for the top of the world but in story I believe so far 4 star mage is only mentioned. I still wonder why did Marcel and Zak spent so much money on MC because there is no free lunch in the world. Is there is a concept of immortality in the novel? I might sound bickering but as a reader after some chapters i've felt like MC persona is becoming bland. He is going to fight higher level mages by sacrificing his life years.

I have the same opinion. The Novels quality decreased sharply at that point. He keeps wasting his life. Unless he finds a way to regain his life or become immortal its stupid what he does.

True. We don’t need any immediate solution as it might be a spoiler. The author should atleast do a foreshadow so that as a reader we might atleast keep a tab on the issue like “okay even though MC wastes lifespan he might have a backup idea to use for fixing the lifespan problem”. When the author delays addressing the issue from a readers perspective it doesn’t look good. Hopefully he might address the issue in the next chapters. As for me For now I stopped reading this. I will look for any reviews whether the author fixed this or not otherwise it’s a big no no for me.

This story is so good. There are great descriptions and the main character left a deep impression. I could actually sympathise with him. And he seemed very courageous and very cool. Keep up with the good work author.

It is an all around amazing Story. one of the best i have read on this site. The World is extremely interseting and discribed in a very engaging way and so are all the battle scenes. The biggest strength of this novel though are the characters. Everyone has really interesting personalities and backstorys. And most importantly.... everyone seems to have a brain... there are rarely any stupid people as sadly often the case in Storys these days. Each character has their Motivations are relatable. Just an all around fantastic story. No idea why it isnt more popular yet. (I mean i can guess why... its not an over the top powerfantasy even though the main character is extremely steong for his age)

It might get better afterwards, but from what I have read, it is not good. Too many plot holes. Why couldn’t he use the same way as in his past life to get stronger? As in cultivation techniques or whatever. Why couldn’t he draw a simple magic circle when he was one if the best magicians in his past life? At the beginning I thought he would be more cold hearted. He would try to may be go back and have his revenge. But not once was this mentioned. He even becamed soft hearted. 🥱

This novel is great and very interesting, the only flaw that I noticed is the inconsistency of events and entertainment in a more accurate sense, but in general this novel is an enjoyable experience for me. Why did such a great novel stop?
