Doctor Demon is a sequel to Money Loving CEO's Detective Lover and follows their daughter Jina and her journey. I don't personally think you need to read the first book to understand this sequel book because the author does a wonderful job recapping and explaining the world building that was established in the first book. I still highly recommend the first book though because that book and the MCs were wonderful. The book synopsis accurately describes what the book is about (finally, other authors need to do it like this too) so I won't focus on that in this review. I love Doctor Demon, this book is one of my favorites that I consistently read on a daily basis. It is so so different from other books I've read so far. The focus on spirits, that world and demons are so unique its not a cliche plot that hundreds of other books have. Some of the murders that take place in the book are based on real life events and its so crazy. This ML is one of the most interesting character I've every come across. I find his story soooo intriguing and his love for the FL that transcends time. This isn't a spoiler of who he is because its revealed in the synopsis and first two chapters. I can't wait to unravel more of who and what he is. The writing quality is so good. Not sure why the author still describes herself as an amateur writer and her writing is constantly improving. The author does a great job describing the world, describing the emotions/experiences the characters are going through that you get caught up in all those feelings that are conjured within you. there are hardly any grammar errors and the transitions are very smooth and easy to follow. The book is updated consistently on a daily basis, getting 1 to 2 chapters at a time. Follow her discord page to get updates/notifications when a new chapter is released. she is also very active there too and responds very quickly. I highly recommend this book and to read all her other books. She is one of my favorite authors here on web novel and I consistently follow her and her work.

The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

[Sweet, satisfying, pampering, lots of face slapping.] Zhang Caishen's era had come to an end and he could never rise again, or so they said. But why did he seem to be getting richer and more powerful even if he was now crippled and abandoned by his betrothed? Why was he suddenly so unnaturally lucky? The answer was simple; his new wife!! Lin Alix was not lucky when it came to her family. She was the older, less loved and less talented one in comparison to her younger sister who stole everything from her. But fate intervened and she got lucky when it came to a husband, not only was he wealthy but he loved to spoil her. Suggested by her infinite luck gaming system, Alix married her sister's unwanted crippled husband to be and stepped on the path of a winner in life. She swept up music awards, gained international recognition and got her revenge on her cruel family while becoming Beijing's most envious wife. "Are you crazy, you willingly married a crippled man?" her friends asked. "Yes, but have you seen how much he pampers me?" she asked in turn. "She will cheat on him, he is a cripple and he can't perform his husbandly duties." others gossiped. Alix looked at the so called crippled man who climbed into her bed night after night and laughed. Sorry, he was more than capable. "Honey, I am here to perform my husbandly duties." he would always say coquettishly when he flipped her over. The Hidden King's Stolen Wife

When powerless, unfavoured Princess Soleia was arranged to marry the newly titled Duke Orion Elsher, she assumed they would find love eventually. Who knew that her father would send off her husband mere hours later to fight a war? Soleia was left alone to deal with an impoverished fief, a crumbling estate, and spiteful, vindictive relatives of the Duke who all wished to see her gone. She couldn’t leave― there was nowhere else to go. Soleia desperately wanted her husband to return so he could offer her a helping hand. However, when he did, he returned with Elowyn, a woman he claimed was his true love. A woman hellbent on taking her place as the rightful Duchess, no matter what she had to do to get Soleia out of the way. Mistreated, misunderstood, and miserable, Soleia was eventually thrown out of the estate she helped build. Fortunately, when one door closes, another one opens. Unknown to Soleia, a man more powerful than her husband had been watching her, waiting for the right time to snatch her into his gilded cage. Duke Elsher had been foolish to let go― but the crown prince of Raxuvia wouldn’t make the same mistake. *** [Excerpt] After two long years, Soleia's husband had finally returned home. But he was not alone. “Your Grace,” Soleia said, trying her best to maintain a calm tone, “welcome home. How were your travels?” The man remained silent as he stared at her. “Oh,” the woman that Soleia's husband had brought back said. “I was just wondering where the servants were. No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant." In one swift motion, he threw the sword out at Soleia, only to be stopped by a flash of scarlet and the coppery scent of blood. *** Prequel to Stolen by the Rebel King.
