yes but that was him at his intro, at his weakest and at 1mill power level and that is still considered low he could casually destroy plants by accident and at his peak without God ki he is galactic threat with God ki he could destroy the universe he's in, Kryptonians may start strong but don't grow stronger without sunlight and have a thousand weaknesses but saiyans have no ceiling to there growth and only have there tails as a weakness but they can train that away or remove it.

DC characters have a ton of iterations. So they are not nerfed, simply a different one. To my knowledge there is only one dragonball main series
