It's a great book... The first bits was a little confusing without the context provided but it was clarified later bit by bit. The execution of providing the context of the past of the MC is magnificent. It was released bit by bit and is making more and more sense as you know a piece. It doesn't overwhelm the reader with information that they will forget and make it an enjoyable read. The main character has a great personality. He has hidden pasts that is mentioned bit by bit and makes him look complicated but also simple. He is a deep and complete character. Even without context to the original Book, it would be enjoyable to read. The humor of this story is well timed and actually funny. It will most likely a hit more that a miss. So it's pretty funny. I also love that the mc's world is different from our world and he doesn't know anything about Soul Land so their interactions are more life like and natural. To be honest, I can't find a fault on this book.

Alright, as an author, I didn't write the first review and waited. This is the tenth review and will get me my official rating. I rate it a five star because I selfishly want the highest rating however I encourage honest reviews even if they can be sometimes discouraging. That's it, I hope all of you enjoy the fanfic.

I have read until chapter 86 and I'm just a normal reader so this is just my view : first thing first I like the interaction between Ja Sun(MC) and Other characters be it his friend(to be ) or teacher and enemies, secondly the story also flow smoothly with additional jokes that make me laugh for a minute or two, the pace of the story is quite good for me not too fast not too slow, the author keep answering my questions if there's something that I forgot from Douluo Dalu's novels so I don't have to reread Douluo Dalu to know some details. the side characters development is quite splendid, ah.. as a warning this is an AU so their personalities is not quite the same, but I think this is ok, since this story starts a decade before Canon, and we don't know how the original characters(like people from spirit hall, or Tang clan, etc) from Soul Land 1 behave a decade before Canon, so for me I like it, it gives more personality and characters development since MC enter their live. as for something that quite a put off happen the earliest to middle chapters is about MC that didn't kill his enemies, or refrain from killing his enemies if there's no immediate benefit from his Traits or something else, MC is not someone that keep killing his enemies like usual Chinese MC to cut the root, but you could read Author's Notes in synopsis about that as it concerning MC's background from previous live and his dislike that he said in earliest chapter, there will be a little flash back that will explaining about that later so just read until 80 chapter I promise that you will get Hooked.

MC IS A HUGE SIMP (GIRL LITERALLY KILLED HIM AND HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT) DO NOT READ Started out interesting but it's quickly revealed that none of what we're told about the mc is true in his first big fight. He's not an intelligent strong revolutionary, capable of overthrowing a world government. He's an idiot, a lucky idiot (and I must assume that's how he won in his first life). Nothing about his "victory" is deserved, he went up against a group he knew he couldn't beat because the "rewards were so tempting" and freaking died, killed by a female enemy only to be brought back by plot armor and then immediately start simping for her. Pretty disappointing to have an otherwise interesting story terminate in terrible writing, that immediately ruined any chance this story had of being good.

I really tried to like this fanfic but i cant. The MC here is reckless fool that always depend on luck(plot armor) to survive. I cant even sympathize with him cause of his personality. He is pretty weak and stupid but also arrogant.

The main character doesn’t realize that in the world he is in, killing your enimes by thw root will avoid future problems and that made mw feel that the mc is Naive and Ignorant toward the real world!

One of the worst kind of MC according to me. He let's go of everyone he meets when they have killing intent toward him Even then it was ok BUT WHY IS HE LETTING GO OF EVERY ONE OF PEOPLE HE MAKES ENEMIES OF!? AND WHAT IS HIS SI MP LIKE BEHAVIOUR!? AND HE'S TOO DUMB! HE HAS SO MANY POTENTIAL AND HE'S JUST LIKE OH I'M SCARED TO GET A RING JUST BECAUSE I SAW A SCARY FIGHT BETWEEN A CULTIVATOR AND SOUL BEAST !? The whole Fanfic is destroyed by Author. If not for the Plot Armour, MC died and got revived just in the starting chapters. I USUALLY DON'T WRITE A BAD REVIEW TO NOT DISCOURAGE ANY AUTHOR BUT I CAN'T STAND THIS SHET OF A NOVEL! Writing Quality : 3 * Story Development : 1* Character Design: 1* Updating Stability: 4* World Background: 1* I really appreciate any readers to read only if they are willing to read about a super naive MC who acts as a si mp and is only able to survive due to Plot Armour. I felt so much rage building up in me when I read it. In starting I let it go thinking that he will atleast kill people if necessary. BUT NO! HE JUST LET'S THEM GO AWAY LIKE NOTHING EVEN IF THEY ONCE KILLED HIM!

A little different Soul Land fic ..Just 14 chapters released till now and author is doing great ... If you talk about the timeline it should be before tang san was reincarnated .. There is no system in his fic but mc has another ability which works like a system & has a incredible potential

the dialogue between ah yin and mc is weird its kind like a chinese manhwa where a typical mc male enemies just by talking,it could happen but he could have just been quiet no enemy needed for no reason, mc ain't the smartass in my opinion others may like it but iam dropping keep grinding author 👍

Nice dd fanfic dude hope this one keeps on giving its pretty cool one and totally different from many others out there, That trait thing is a "system" but a the same time is not so new direction of things that spice things up, overall i thing its gonna go far if you keep at it author
