Review Detail of Envious_ in One Piece - Supreme King

Hello, I’m the editor of this story (Envy#9418 on discord). I can assure you this review will be completely unbiased… hopefully. I’ve enjoyed helping with and reading the story so far (as of chapter 30). It’s proven to be a nice breath of fresh air compared to other One Piece stories as the MC does gain strength, just not at an unbelievable pace. Now onto the writing quality. The writing quality of this story has been quite good so far. There have been a few spelling mistakes, and the ones that are there, are quickly edited. Each chapter has a clear purpose and conveys that purpose well, furthermore as the author has continued to write you can tell his writing style has improved. All in all the writing quality is a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Next up is the stability of updates. In this category, the author takes home a 5 out of 5 without a doubt. There is a new chapter almost every single day, the only day that there is no chapter is Saturday; that’s simply because the power stones reset the next day. The story development for this story has been good and has only been getting better. The author takes care to make sure ideas are fully fleshed out and developed into chapters that bring the readers enjoyment. The story development started off pretty well, but as the story has progressed the author has made sure to add plot twists and introduce new concepts that keep readers at the edge of their seats. All in all this category earns a 4 out of 5 from me, but I can definitely see it being moved up to 5 out of 5 in the future. Character design like the previous category started off well and has only gotten better. The author has made sure to make most of the characters three-dimensional, with their own goals and ambitions. These goals and ambitions dictate how the characters act, and they influence the decisions these characters make. All in all the author has done a good job in making good character designs hence he scores a 4 out of 5 in this area. The world background is 5 out of 5, it’s One Piece, not much more has to be said lol. But in all seriousness, the author does a good job in taking an already incredible world and adding his own ideas to further spice it up. All in all, this has proven to be a very nice story so far, one I would truly recommend to all who are looking for a good story to read.
