300+ chapter in and overall I like this story but I hate that the author makes the MC seem like a real smart genius at first but then just keeps having him make stupid choices that he knows are going to make him suffer.

i feel that yes he is making very stupid choices but its not because he isnt smart enough to know that they are stupid but that he is still following the values instilled into him by his father
