The fact that the MC is 10 ruins the immersion, I could get behind these things happening to 14-15 year olds but 10 is just too young. What kind of bow could 10 years olds use to kill with or without training. Bows are not something someone can pick up and just use in that manner. Everything gets solved if there is a 4 year time skip before the first guarding mission. The other issues of using the wrong word here and there dont matter as much. Wheres the hook, we were promised someone to protect but this may as well be forgotten. The first chapter ends up as a mess, is this a scene that happens in the future or was this from a previous timeline. I liked the idea but my expectations were subverted and at this point I have little desire to continue reading.

LIKEI just reread some of the early chapters of that book, the main difference here is that the mc is still treated like a kid, a kid in a cultivation world, but a kid none the less. But even a cultivation novel wouldn’t send a group of children to defend a town
Sraptor69:didn't birth of the demonic sword have him do his first mission around 10?

Keep in mind that I haven’t read this in over a year and Birth was likely 2-3 years ago. My tastes have add time to develop in that time.
Sraptor69:spose so
